Surfing (or whatever exercise you like best) as a spiritual practice.

Whenever you think about a physical activity that’s associated with spirituality, what’s the first thing that comes to mind?

Yoga, right?

And holy smokes, with good reason. We’ll definitely be talking about yoga in a future AnnikaTV episode.

But is that the only form of movement that can feel like a direct line to the Holy?

I say: nope.

Squats, swimming or a morning run can also be a time for sweat AND soulfulness, which is why I’m so excited to share today’s episode of AnnikaTV with you.

In this episode, I’m talking with Srini Rao about surfing.

He shares how surfing gave him his first experience of truly deep presence and also cured a painful digestive condition.

Even if you’re not a surfer and have no interest in becoming one, you probably do some form of exercise (or are trying to commit to some).

Watch this episode and consider how your chosen activity can be about more than calories and reps.
